What upskilling courses are offered?
MyComputerCareer currently offers the following courses for IT professionals looking to advance their knowledge:

Will these courses help me get IT certifications?
Yes! Each course is designed to help you build relevant skills and prepare you to take at least one certification test that is directly related to those skills. Exam vouchers, Test-Prep Packages and course Bundles are available to further assist with preparing for and completing certification.
How long do the courses take to complete?
Most courses meet Monday-Thursday for 5-hours of instruction daily (6-11 p.m. ET) over a 2-week period – OR – 4 consecutive Saturdays (8 a.m.- 6 p.m. ET) for a total of 40 hours of LIVE online instruction. Regularly scheduled breaks are included in all courses.
Where are courses held?
Courses are LIVE ONLINE or at one of our 9 campus locations. We also offer training onsite for businesses.
Are the courses live? Do you offer on-demand learning?
Yes, the courses are fully live online. At this time, we do not offer on-demand coursework. But keep your eyes on the site. More courses, including on-demand learning, are forthcoming.
Do you offer additional services with these courses?
Yes! We offer a certification bundle for each course that includes a 4-hour test prep study session and an exam voucher.
Additionally, we offer add-on services that include individual test prep packages, exam vouchers, retake exam vouchers (for select courses) and tutoring services.
Where can I find the calendar dates of each course/bundle offering?
You’ll find a dropdown menu in each course or bundle you are exploring that provides options for next start dates. Typically, each course is offered either weekday evenings for 2 consecutive weeks, or four (4) consecutive all-day Saturday sessions. The most popular classes are offered with higher frequency.
Who will be teaching my course?
You’ll be guided by live instructors who bring expertise, focus, and real-time responsiveness to your learning experience. Our experienced instructors bring first-hand knowledge of the IT industry to the classroom which allows them to deliver course materials in a way that resonates and connects to your professional experience.
What are the requirements to take a course?
In general, these courses are designed for working IT professionals with some level of proficiency in IT and/or a general understanding of the principles of information security.
More specifically, each course/bundle offered contains details outlining “who will benefit from this training” that targets the exact skillset or background recommended to enroll.
What skills will I learn in these short courses?
Much like the IT industry, the skills leveraged in your cybersecurity career will continue to evolve, requiring continuing education to stay at, or ahead of the curve. These courses will arm you immediately with transferable skills to help propel your career.
The specific skills you will gain through each course are laid out in detail in the course description. For example, in the Certified Ethical Hacker course, your new skillset will include:
Recon and scan networks, vulnerability analysis, system hacking, malware threats, network sniffing, social engineering, session hijacking, intrusion detection and evasion techniques, web server and application attacks, hacking wireless and mobile platforms, encryption strategies, and more.
What value does upskilling present?
For the IT workforce upskilling = advancement, and advancement = more money. In today’s IT marketplace, acquired skills even surpass certifications in the eyes of employers looking to fill specific roles.
Currently the market for global corporate learning and development is an estimated $350 billion. In fact, a recent LinkedIn report stated “upskilling and reskilling” and “digital upskilling and digital transformation” is the focus of a combined 72% of corporate learning and development programs. Bottom line, if you’re in the IT industry and not working to learn new skills, employers are taking notice.
Do you offer different payment options?
